I’m a third-generation Lakefield local, and my family has run a business here for over 80 years. Growing up, I learned early the value of hard work, building trust, and knowing your neighbours by name. Those lessons have stayed with me, and they’re at the heart of how I serve my clients today.
My journey in real estate began in the 1980s as a secretary for Hamilton and Hamilton Real Estate, a well-known local waterfront brokerage. It was there I fell in love with the industry—learning the ins and outs of waterfront sales and the unique joys and challenges that come with them. Over the years, my role evolved from behind the desk to centre stage as a REALTOR®, and now, with over 44 years of combined industry experience, I can’t imagine doing anything else.
I’ve built my business around the people I feel called to serve most—downsizers, seniors moving into retirement communities, and relocators who want a trusted guide to make the transition smoother. My signature system, “Lakefield – The Next Chapter,” was designed to do just that. I help my clients not only sell and buy, but also navigate the emotional, practical, and sometimes overwhelming details that come with a big move—whether it’s sorting through decades of belongings, staging a home to shine, or connecting them with trusted legal and financial advice.
Living in cottage country also means I know the pull of the lake. I spent 15 years in Apsley—the heart of Cottage Country—working in and around some of the Kawarthas’ most beautiful lakes: Jack’s, Chandos, and Anstruther. I understand that buying or selling a cottage isn’t just a transaction; it’s a lifestyle decision that blends dreams with dollars. My role is to balance both.
